The Comité consultatif de lutte contre la pauvreté et l’exclusion sociale is a public agency whose main mission is to advise the Minister responsible for application of the Act to combat poverty and social exclusion on the planning, implementation and evaluation of the government action introduced under the National Strategy to Combat Poverty and Social Exclusion and to present the Minister with its comments and recommendations. The committee is also mandated to monitor government policies that have an impact on poverty and social exclusion.
The advisory committee is therefore a place where constructive dialogue and active listening can occur, with special emphasis on what persons in situations of poverty and social exclusion have to say..
